Surat al-Baqara, verse 88

They say, ‘Our hearts are uncircumcised.’ Rather, Allah has cursed them for their disbelief. What little faith they have!

Because of what? Because of their denial. One who denies Allah goes to hell. He is cursed.

Surat an-Nisa, verse 155

Because of the fact that they broke their covenant, and rejected Allah’s Signs, and killed the Prophets without any right to do so and said, ‘Our hearts are uncircumcised,’ Allah has stamped them with disbelief, so they do not have faith except for very few.

All of these are crimes. Allah mentions forbidden actions.

...and said, ‘Our hearts are uncircumcised,’ Allah has stamped them with disbelief.

A man who does this goes to hell. What about those who do not do that? Why should they be cursed? Allah has made this a condition. Allah says that if you do it, I will curse you.

Allah has stamped them with disbelief, so they do not have faith except for very few.

So there are some faithful people. How come they were all cursed? Allah says that most people do not have faith.
