Explanations of verses from Surah Yusuf by Mr. Adnan Oktar

Surah Yusuf, Verse 21

"The Egyptian who had bought him told his wife, "Look after him with honor and respect. It's possible he will be of use to us or perhaps we might adopt him as a son." And thus We established Joseph in the land to teach him the true meaning of events. God is in control of His affair. However, most of mankind do not know."

"The Egyptian who had bought him…" the verse starts. The verse directly reads "Egyptian". In Egypt. "… told his wife; "Look after him with honor and respect. It's possible he will be of use to us or perhaps we might adopt him as a son." “And thus We established Joseph in the land." That is a statement referring to the reign of the system of the Mahdi. "… to teach him the true meaning of events. God is in control of His affair." The abjad calculation of this verse gives the date 2014; that means there will be some changes in Egypt in the year 2014. " God is in control of His affair. However, most of mankind do not know." God is in control of His affair, God is in control. So we hope that in the year 2014, God will be in control. That is what the verse points out. "However, most of mankind do not know."

Surah Yusuf, Verse 22

And then when he became a full-grown man, We gave him knowledge and right judgment too. That is how We reward all doers of good.

"And then when he became a full-grown man, We gave him knowledge and right judgment too." Right judgment... What is the characteristic of the Mahdi (pbuh)? He has right judgment. "We gave him knowledge. That is how We reward all doers of good." All sorts of knowledge, including Ilm-al Ladun (the Innate-Secret Knowledge)

Surah Yusuf, Verse 23

The woman whose house it was solicited him. She barred the doors and said, ´Come over here!´ He said, ´God is my refuge! He is my lord and has been good to me with where I live. Those who do wrong will surely not succeed.´

"The woman whose house it was solicited him. She barred the doors…" Of course in these verses there is a code in every word. There are covert codes for instance; that means in Egypt some doors will be barred. The doors from which aid reaches Muslims will be barred. That is what is going in Egypt: The doors of many places are being barred, many tunnels are being closed and Muslims' connections with each other are severed. The doors are barred, especially in Egypt. The doors to the outer worlds, to the Muslims are closed. And in this verse there is also reference to this.

Surah Yusuf, Verse 25

They raced to the door. She tore his shirt at the back. They met her husband by the door. She said, 'How should a man whose intention was to harm your family be punished for what he did except with prison or painful punishment?'

"They raced to the door." My dear one, how sweet the Prophet Joseph (pbuh) is. He is almost making a run for his life. "She tore his shirt at the back." She is quite strong, I mean tearing one's shirt at the back; shirts of the time were made from linen and they were really sound and strong but because of her lust, she sees red. "They met her husband by the door." God makes them meet him of course. "She said, 'How should a man whose intention was to harm your family be punished for what he did except with prison or painful punishment?" This is how women, many of them, are in unbelief. They are extremely treacherous and very dangerous. They are very cruel. They can cast slanders upon you in an instant. And because the laws are arranged in favor of her, in favor of women in many countries, there are many women who cause trouble for many people in this sense. They can make things appear in a certain way, even though they are not actually like that, and thus cause troubles for people: Actually, she was the one to throw herself at him; "… How should a man whose intention was to harm your family be punished for what he did…" You understand that this is not love but the insanity of lust. Would anyone who feels love could ever do something like this to the one she loves? It is obvious that she has the wildness of lust on her.

Surah Yusuf, Verse 26

He said, 'It was she who tried to seduce me.' A witness from her people then declared, 'If his shirt is torn in front, she speaks the truth and he has clearly told a shameless lie.

In Freemasonry, a certain part of the shirt is torn, I don't know if it is in an attempt to represent that incident but they also open the right shoulder of the shirt.

Surah Yusuf, Verse 27

If his shirt is torn at the back, then she has lied and he has clearly told the simple truth.'

Underneath his shirt, the Prophet Joseph (pbuh) has the seal of Prophecy, insha'Allah. That is a reference to that seal as well; once the shirt is torn that seal of prophecy is revealed, insha'Allah.

Surah Yusuf, Verse 28

He saw the shirt torn at the back and said, 'The source of this is women's deviousness. Without a doubt your guile is very great.

"He saw the shirt torn at the back…" Here there is a reference to the Prophet Joseph's back. There is also a reference to the Mahdi (pbuh). As you know, there will be a seal on his back as well, insha'Allah. "(her husband) said; "The source of this is women's diviousness." That means in some women, especially if they are in disbelief, treachery, tricks and games will be frequent: That is because they are very short-tempered, jealous and green with envy. Turning green with envy would turn a person's soul into that spirit. In order to take revenge in a  certain situation, she can stoop to all sorts of insanity. The Qur'an refers to the need of being careful against that. "Without doubt your guile is very great." He says when you are full of  guile, it is  very comprehensively and there are almost always others who support you.

Surah Yusuf, Verse 29

Yusuf, ignore all this, and you, my wife, should ask forgiveness for your evil act. There is no doubt that you are in the wrong.'

"Yusuf, ignore all this…" So he tells Joseph to stop talking to her. This means the man is a very mature person; another person, an ignorant one, might have hurt him. See that the people of that age were very mature and decent, and they approached people with a Muslim's attitude. That means acting like a Muslim is very important, not acting wild. "… and you, my wife, should ask forgiveness for your evil act." Look, this again is an attitude of a Muslim. He doesn't go and beat her. He simply says; "…ask forgiveness for your evil act. There is no doubt that you are in the wrong." He is saying the important part. But imagine what the ignorant ones, those who ascribe partners to God would do in such an occasion? They would stab her repeatedly, chop her up or break her nose, etc. However in such an explicit incident he simply says; "You have sinned" and tells them not to see each other again.  And that is it, the matter would then be closed.
