• Allah wants believers to enjoy liberty, beauty and ease. He says that unbelievers never know love and passion. Love of women lies in faith. The more faith a person has, the stronger his love of women will be. He will get married, not just because of sexual needs, but to be filled with love of Allah and to have a partner in the hereafter. They are unable to comprehend love and passion. Of course, if you do not know love, you cannot see the depth that is a manifestation of Allah.

• There is no compulsion in religion. You cannot force people. Secularism is essential. One can be an unbeliever or a Muslim, as one chooses. If you have compulsion, then you also have hypocrisy. The system has to be democratic. Therefore, in the time of Hazrat Mahdi (as) true secularism and democracy will also appear. The errors of the past will not be repeated, insha’Allah.

SURAT AL-NAJM,

In the name of Allah, All-Merciful, Most Merciful

1-      By the star when it descends,

This refers to the sinking of the Sun of Islam.

2- your companion [the prophet] is not misguided or misled;

They accused our Prophet (saas) of excess and perversion, may Allah forbid. In other words, they alleged he was insane. But it also refers to Hazrat Mahdi (as).

The Mahdi is the Lord of Time. Who was the Lord of Time in those days? Our Prophet (saas). Who is the Lord of Time of the End Times? Hazrat Mahdi (as).

3- nor does he speak from whim.

Our Prophet (saas) does not speak as the fancy takes him. Hazrat Mahdi (as) will not speak as the fancy takes him. Because he, too, will act under inspiration from an angel, insha’Allah.

4- It is nothing but Revelation revealed,

5- taught him by one immensely strong,

6- possessing power and splendour. He stood there stationary –

 Gabriel (as) is wonderfully attractive. Our Prophet (saas) fell in love with his beauty. Gabriel (as) is wondrously beautiful.

7- there on the highest horizon.

8- Then he drew near and hung suspended.

9- He was two bow-lengths away or even closer.

This, of course, is a very profound mystical, spiritual secret. I will reveal that secret when the time comes, insha’Allah.

10- Then He revealed to His servant what He revealed.

11- His heart did not lie about what he saw.

12- What! Do you dispute with him about what he saw?

13- He saw him again another time

14- by the Lote-tree of the Final Limit,

15- beside which is the Garden of Refuge,

16- when that which covered the Lote-tree covered it.

17- His eye did not waver nor did he look away.

Our Prophet (saas) never took his eyes away from the place. He looked where he was told to look, not where he was told not to look. There are very deep secrets here, of course. Some have already been revealed, while others will be explained in the End Times.

18- He saw some of the Greatest Signs of his Lord.

19- Have you really considered al-Lat and al-‘Uzza

20- and Manat, the third, the other one?*

How many idols were there? Al-Lat, al-‘Uzza and Manat. What do Christians do? They produce three idols. May Allah forbid. Surely He is beyond that. They try to manufacture idols other than Allah. That perverse belief in the Trinity. There was a belief in the Trinity even then. They just continued the Trinity.

21- Do you have males and He females?

22- That is a most unfair division!

23 They are nothing but names which you yourselves have given, you and your forefathers. Allah has sent down no authority for them. They are following nothing but conjecture and what their own selves desire.And that when guidance has reached them from their Lord!

They made it up. Allah says they just invented in line with their own desires. Our Prophet (saas) came as a guide. Jesus the Messiah also told them the truth. The Prophet Moses (as) told them the truth. Allah tells us to follow the truth .

• The six-pointed star is the seal of the Prophet Solomon (as). It is not a sign of disbelief. It is the seal of the prophet. Some people are acting ignorantly regarding that. If they regard the seal of the prophet as a sign of disbelief, then they themselves are falling into disbelief. The six-pointed star is the seal of the Prophet Sulayman (as), used in Ottoman times, in the time of Barbarossa, used on many Ottoman objects and used in many sects. It is not a sign of kufr. Israel is the name of a prophet, the Prophet Jacob (as). It is disbelief to speak ill of the name Israel. May Allah forbid. In the same way, it is disbelief to speak ill of the seal of the Prophet Solomon (as). They are acting wrongly, out of ignorance. 

• We are proud of Rasulullah (saas) because of his love of women. Someone with no love of women is someone with no love of Allah. The more love of woman a person has, the greater his love of Allah. It is correlated with love of Allah. Animal lust is different. Horses and donkeys have that. Allah creates a feeling of disgust in that. Passion is a characteristic of believers. It is unique to them alone. It is a deep love.

• Aggression is totally unbecoming of a Muslim. Some people use very violent language, on the internet or in opinion pieces. They speak improperly and ill of holy people. Let us start a moral campaign against that. Muslims are one another’s brothers. They must not look for flaws in one another. But that mindset is very common and is regarded as quite normal. If they move to the other side they will see how wrong that is. Speak of love and compassion and it will ease your soul.
