The Evolution Deceit
Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's interview on A9 TV dated 28 February 2012
Surat al-Ma’ida, 5
“Today all good things have been made halal (lawful) for you.” Jews and Christians. So if you eat their food you are friends. You are friends on the subject of food. You are not friends on what contradicts the Qur’an. You disagree on that. They fail to understand this.“And the food of those given the Book is also halal for you and your food is halal for them.” You invite them to your home and have dinner with them. Why give them food to eat? Because Allah tells you to. And you go and dine in their homes. There is a verse about it. Some people say they are our enemies, but the verse refutes that. “So are chaste women from among the believers and chaste women of those given the Book before you, once you have given them their dowries in marriage, not in fornication or taking them as lovers.”
He says you can marry them. You can marry a Jewish woman. She becomes your beloved and the mother of your children. You do not love her belief, the false belief, only her. But they never mention this verse. When something contradicts faith, you have an attitude against that.
Surat al-Ma’ida, 51
Now, does Allah tell us not to take them as friends when it comes to “the one Allah”? No. We are friends on the subject of “the one Allah.” We are friends when it comes to the prophets of Allah, to believing in the prophets. We are friends when it comes believing in the hereafter and paradise and hell. We are friends on the subject of what is lawful and unlawful in the eyes of the Qur’an. What subject are we not friends on? We are not friends when it comes to the Trinity. What does that friendship mean? Not sharing that particular belief, of course. It does not mean we should hate the individual. If Almighty Allah wanted us to hate them personally, He would not have made it lawful for us to marry the People of the Book.2012-06-27 13:22:36
