People know how to pray and perform the prayers. There is no problem with religious law. Everyone knows. Everything is known. Nothing is not known. They even know the fine details. There is a problem of faith. When you have faith, then you have the problem of ascribing equals to Allah. Someone believes, but also ascribes equals to Allah. This is very dangerous. Allah says, “Most of them have no faith” (Surat al-Baqara, 100). And He says that most of those who do have faith cannot believe without ascribing equals to Him. There is a vast horde of polytheists in the world.
The bigots are awaiting a bigot who is a thousand times more extremist than themselves. As Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh), may Allah forbid. And yet Hazrat Mehdi (pbuh) is coming to eradicate bigotry. He will bring in a system in which people can live as human beings and Muslims. Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) is an instrument.
One says, “I am a bigot.” Then another even more fanatical bigot says to him, “I will kill you. You are not bigoted enough.” The larger of the bigots is strong enough to strangle the smaller one. They are enemies. They detest one another. There is a huge competition between them but nobody takes them seriously. So the Merciful One has done very well. We can see how important His actions are more clearly every day.
(Our brothers must be patient in describing the invalidity of Darwinism and materialism and telling people about the End Times)
Sometimes our brothers are unable to influence people properly when they talk about the End Times, Darwinism and materialism. My brother, I used to talk about things when I was at the academy and maybe one or two people would come round to my way of thinking. The next day, two people would leave and one would come. Then there were three of us. Then all the others would leave. That is the kind of work we were doing. Look, millions of people have now seen that Darwinism has collapsed, so one has to be patient. Things do not happen overnight. There is nothing surprising in that. One has to be patient in the face of the idea of the collective personality when one talks about the way of the Mahdi. People have been brainwashed for 50 years. It is a miracle how they did it. How did they impose that demagoguery with no supporting evidence? And how did people come to believe it? That is another marvel.
(Showing blessings is an act of worship. It is obedience to the commands of the Qur’an)
Our Prophet (saas) praised himself. He praised his good sides. “I am not being arrogant, I am telling the truth,” he said. The Messenger of Allah (saas) praised himself at length. And it was true. People should say if there is something good about it. An attractive person will say, “I am attractive.” That is a good thing.” He can say he a fighter, if he is waging jihad. If he is intelligent, that can in any case be seen. “I am intelligent,” he will say, and will give thanks to Allah. “We want to see Our blessings on Our servants”” says Allah. As thanks for that blessing; “And as for the blessing of your Lord, speak out!” (Surat ad-Duha, 11) Allah says in one verse of the Qur’an. But boasting out of arrogance is forbidden. If a sense of superiority or arrogance develops because of it, if Muslims can see that in a person, or if people can see it in themselves. But modest, humble descriptions of one’s qualities is the exhibition of a blessing, and that is an act of worship. It is obeying one of Allah’s commands. What does Allah say in a verse? “And as for the blessing of your Lord, speak out!” (Surat ad-Duha, 11)2012-08-02 11:11:09
