• Awaiting Hazrat Mahdi (as), longing for his coming and desiring to join and follow him is behavior praised by our Prophet (saas). He particularly praised being one of his followers. “Nobody there has ever been can compete with them,” says our Prophet (saas). That is why I keep bringing up being one of his followers, because it is so valuable. It is an opportunity that will only come once. There is nothing about awaiting Hazrat Mahdi (as) to alarm people. For example, I am awaiting Hazrat Mahdi (as) but nothing in my life changes. I still abide by the Qur’an, I still pray and preach Islam, I still do everything I need to, but I also await Hazrat Mahdi (as). This does not impair the quality of my life: on the contrary, it increases my fervor and enthusiasm. Awaiting Hazrat Mahdi (as) is not at all alarming for Muslims. Seeking Hazrat Mahdi (as) is an excellent thing. Our Prophet (saas) describes it as a blessing.
